Grant's (Sept-2026)

*attic & wall insulations - house must have been built prior to 31st December 2010. post works BER req to claim grant.

*wall insulation - post works BER be minimum "B" - OR -  have attic insulation and heating system compliant with building regs (ie. heatpump or 90% efficient oil/gas boiler). heating control upgrade grant available (€700) - contact SEAI registered plumber for details.

*windows and doors - house must have been built prior to 31st December 2010. if home received previous seai attic and wall insulation upgrade grants then house is eligible for grant - OR - walls and attic must be rated "good" on an existing BER advisory report - OR - pre-BER may be required to establish eligibility. adequate room ventilation is required for the grant also, discuss this with your window contractor. post works BER req to claim grant.

*heat pump - house must have been built prior to 1st January 2021. if house built before 2007 and if a valid BER available for house indicates HLI of 2.3 or less then house is eligible (post works BER req to claim grant). If BER shows HLI of more then 2.3, or if no BER available, then a technical assessment is required to assess eligibility, and possible insulation upgrades (shown above) may be needed to be eligible for the heat pump grant. if house is built after 2007 then the house is eligible.

*the heat pump grant amounts above are inclusive of the €2000 Central Heating Grant for upgrading central heating components (eg new rads and/or underfloor heating), and also includes €4000 Renewable Heat Bonus if you swap out an existing fossil fuel system (eg oil/gas boiler, solid fuel system, or electric storage heating system)

*pv & solar thermal - house must have been built prior to 1st January 2021.
